Junior Lifeguards and Sand Crabs in the surf learning about ocean safety.

The Sand Crab group is the youngest age division of the Huntington Beach Fire Department Junior Lifeguard program. The Sand Crab group incorporates the same principles of our world-renowned HBFD Junior Lifeguard Program in a way that is accessible and safe for younger children. The Sand Crab group is a perfect introduction to the Junior Lifeguard family.

REMINDER: Sand Crabs must try out each spring for the summer program.
