Huntington Beach Fire Department Junior Lifeguard Program
Spring Break will never be the same! HBFD Junior Lifeguard Spring Break registration is open now. Check out HBSands.org. for the program. The class runs April 11 to April 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Spots are filling fast so make sure to reserve your spot.
Surf Team is currently in Spring Session. It is not too late to join the team. Check out HBSands.org for the Surf Team information.

Huntington Beach Fire Department Junior Lifeguard Program

The HBFD Junior Lifeguard Program is now offering two classes for current Junior Lifeguards: Surf Team and JG Spring Break. To register for the classes, go to your HBSands.org account and sign up using the following activity codes: Surf Team, 900010 A4; and JG Spring Break, 900400 A1. Here are some details:
Surf Team, 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 a.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays, from March 1 to April 28, 2022
JG Spring Break, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., Monday through Friday, April 11-15, 2022
Each program is geared for our Junior Lifeguards who are current, 2021. The Surf Team will have their first surf contest in early April. The Spring Break crew will get to be on the beach each day, and for those who surf, they will be allowed to work with the Surf Team during that week.
