Dear C Parents,

On Monday, August 9, 2021, the “C” Groups are having their second surf day at Tower 26.

Please drop off and pick up your Junior Guards at normal time in the parking lot furthest north of Goldenwest Street at Tower 26.

Guidelines for the parking lot:

  • Do not stop on PCH or leave your vehicle unattended to unload/load.

  • Expect the parking lot to be congested and moving slow, so plan accordingly.

  • Please be courteous to other beach goers and JG families.

  • Please drive into the parking lot as far as possible and pull to the right before starting to unload or load. Congestion is caused when you drop off/pickup at the entrance of the parking lot.

  • Instructors will be in the parking lot and will walk your JGs to and from the beach.

  • Afternoon/PM group drop off is at 12:40 p.m. This helps with the congestion from the AM session leaving.

What to Bring:

  • Beanies: All JGs must wear their uniform and wear beanies in the water.

  • Towel, snack/lunch, and water. No food services provided.

  • Other water equipment or beach game like surfboards, wetsuits, boogie boards and fins.

  • Sunscreen, the sun loves Tower 26.

If you have any questions please call the Huntington Beach Fire Department Junior Lifeguards at 714-374-1501.

Sincerely,

Sean Richards and Ryan Camps

“C” Group Leaders

Hello HBFD Junior Lifeguard Parents,

As our summer winds down, we would like to remind everyone of our lost and found. We have over two hundred water bottles/hydroflasks, sandals, towels and fins. Please take a minute next week to look through the lost and found items, as we will be donating the rest of the items at the end of the summer.

Thank you,

HBFD Junior Lifeguard Group Leaders

Hi HBFD Junior Lifeguard Parents,

Ninety percent of the Friends of the HBJG water bottles are in the office and ready for pickup. The last few will be finished tomorrow. There are some discontinued colors like red, which is no longer available. We can switch out the new colors for those discontinued. If none of the colors are right for you, the Friends of the HBJG will send you a refund. If you would like to purchase a water bottle come into the front office. There are 24 oz. and 32 oz. sizes.

Thank you,

Friends of HBJG’s
